Congratulations to our winner, Terri Rigby! A resident of Reisterstown, Maryland, she claimed her grand prize on June 7th... a brand new Honda Fit in her favorite color...Norris blue!
It touched our hearts to know that someone who was in such need of a new car won. As a single working mom, Terri's car had recently broken down and she donated it to the Kidney Foundation before receiving our call that she had won. Apparently someone was looking out for her because out of over 900 entries,
Terri's name was pulled.
When she arrived at Norris Honda to pick up her new car, she said, "When I got your message I couldn't believe it,
but you sounded so sincere on the phone I thought, could I have really won?! I have been so excited all week long!"
Terri's mother was equally excited and told us that about 35 years ago she was in a similar situation, buying her first car at Norris Ford just up the road.
Terri's father recently passed away and she told us how he would enter numerous contests and won quite often,
but she hadn't been as lucky. It's pretty safe to say that her Dad is looking down and proud of her for following in
his winning footsteps.
