There are seven trim levels of the 2017 Honda Accord Sedan. Each trim level has unique performance capabilities based on the parts and features the vehicle has. As for engines, there are two available for the 2017 Accord Sedan.
The LX, Sport, Sport Special Edition, EX, and EX-L trim levels all feature a 2.4-liter 16-Valve DOHC i-VTEC® 4-cylinder engine with direct fuel injection. With this engine, the 2017 Honda Accord Sedan LX, EX, and EX-L trim levels achieve 185 horsepower and 181 foot-pounds of torque. With the same 4-cylinder engine configured differently, the new Accord Sedan Sport and Sport Special Edition get a higher power output of 189 horsepower and 182 foot-pounds of torque.
Under the hoods of the 2017 Honda Accord EX-L V-6 and Touring trim levels is a 3.5-liter 24-Valve SOHC i-VTEC® V6 engine with multi-port fuel injection. Substantially larger than its 4-cylinder brother, the available V6 engine for the 2017 Honda Accord Sedan can generate 278 horsepower and 252 foot-pounds of torque.
