Honda introduced the latest addition to its lineup during the 2013 Detroit Auto Show, and now the much-anticipated compact crossover is expected in dealerships this summer.
The 2016 Honda HR-V has three available trims and a slew of standard features, including power windows, rearview camera and Bluetooth. Some available features include push-button start, Siri Eyes Free Integration and a six-speaker sound system.
Because the crossover is built on the Fit's platform, the interior (or Magic Seats, as they're called) can be configured in three distinct styles to accommodate different driving situations. That means drivers and passengers of all sizes (it seats up to five people) can comfortably fit in the front and/or back seats.

The sleek design and smaller size means the HR-V also gets great gas mileage, at an estimated 28 city/ 35 highway mpg*. If that isn't enticing enough, USA Today announced the "subcompact SUV...will start at $19,995 including destination charges."
It runs on a 1.8-liter SOHC four-cylinder engine with 141 horsepower, but don't let that fool you into thinking the HR-V is sluggish. This vehicle includes paddle shifts for some additional boost. MotorTrend recently took the HR-V for a first test drive and determined that, "It's quick, it's nimble, and it's surprisingly comfortable, with a thoughtful interior package. The HR-V is the next star in Honda's lineup."
Honda's reputation for safety and reliability are not excluded from this crossover, and this newest addition will undoubtedly make a lasting impression.
