It's official, folks:  the Honda Pilot has returned, and it's sure to hook those in the market for a quality eight-passenger SUV.

First, the Pilot has the highest EPA-rating of any eight-passenger family SUV, so it's a fantastic option for the everyday commute to school, work, events, and errands--but it's also a viable option for the family vacation or just a getaway with friends.

The Pilot houses a 3.5-liter i-VTEC V6 capable of producing up to 250-horsepower with a five-speed automatic transmission with Grade Logic Control.

The Pilot's body structure is more responsive and advanced than ever before, and many of these features assist with the vehicle's fuel efficiency. Some of these components include: low-rolling resistance tires, variable-displacement power steering pump, low-drag front ventilated and rear disc brakes.

Then there are the choices. Choose from two or four wheel drive, and the Pilot is available in four trims: LX, EM, EX-L (leather), and Touring.

In terms of interior features, all Pilot models are fitted with a high-resolution 8-inch intelligent Multi-Information Display with rearview camera display user-loadable wallpaper function, iPod album artwork display, automatic climate controls, USB connection, Bluetooth HandsFreeLink, Bluetooth Audio. Other options range depending on the model; for instance, the EX and EX-L models include a 2 GB CD Library (CD-L).
