If you've been wondering what's in store with the Honda Ridgeline and whether it's going anywhere, we have some answers for you here at Norris Honda that will help clear up the future of this popular pickup.
When Honda announced that there wouldn't be a next generation three years ago, that may have raised concern that the model could phase out and be replaced with another. Honda knocked down that notion; Honda's US truck planner and the CEO of American Honda said that the Ridgeline is an important piece of the lineup. The Japanese automaker also told Ward's Auto that the "Ridgeline continues to be an important part of our lineup."1. So, what will become of the Ridgeline?
It will be taking a two-year break and will make a reappearance in 2016. That's the plan, well, at least according to Ward's Auto.
That being said, it hasn't been officially announced, but if this is a model you've considered test driving and eventually owning, you won't want to wait until September when the Lincoln, AL stops production, effectively taking it off the radar.
The Ridgeline is part of the small pickup truck category, which certainly does wonders for the company. So, if this does end up being a truth, we're excited to see what sort of entrance the Ridgeline will make come 2016.
That's what we have for now. In the meantime, why don't you come down to our Baltimore, MD showroom? You can take it for a test drive and see if it's right for you. If you want to expand your search, you should check out the Honda cars we have in the lineup as well. We want to help you succeed in your auto quest, so come in and we'll get you started!
