Honda aired two different Super Bowl ads this year - one for Honda and one for their luxury arm Acura. Both offer a healthy dose of satire; however, the ad Norris Honda would like to focus on here is that for the Honda CR-V (revamped for the 2012 model year)... With the iconic, throaty vocals of "Oh Yea!" by Yellow playing in the background, it's a throwback of the best kind.

Directed by Todd Phillips credited with The Hangover as well as Old School, the new Honda ad carries the same smell-the-roses-because-life-moves-fast spirit as Ferris Bueller's Day Off. It's not on accident, either. Co-starring Matthew Broderick (a.k.a Ferris Bueller) and the new CR-V, the ad is essentially a two-plus-minute, modern-day adaptation of the classic film most of us have seen at least once, if not a handful of times.

If you like the movie, you will definitely appreciate the add, which offers viewers a healthy dose of laughter and softly sells the new Honda CR-V's many features such as Bluetooth. The grand finale to Bueller/Broderick's day of hooky: a shot of his valet air born in the CR-V. Good thing it comes with MacPhereson front strut suspension.

Are you ready to take some time and enjoy life in a world that seems to be moving by at moc speed? Are you ready to have more fun? Contact Norris Honda today to learn all of the benefits that come with owning the 2012 Honda CR-V. Or, swing by 925 Merritt Blvd Baltimore, MD and take a test drive.
