Honda is happy to welcome its newest member of the family: the 2016 Honda HR-V. Many things about this crossover have been kept hush-hush until its reveal at the 2014 L.A. Auto Show. For starters, consumers finally learned this vehicle's powertrain consists of a 1.8-liter four-cylinders with 138 horsepower and 127 pound-feet of torque. A CVT or a manual transmission is also available (Note that, although the vehicle comes in all-wheel drive and front-wheel drive, the manual transmission will only be available on front-driving models).

Described as the CR-V's little brother, the HR-V is built on the same platform as the Honda Fit but has a surprisingly spacious cabin. The exterior shares similar designs and features as the CR-V, but it still boasts its own unique design and functionality.
Standard features include Honda's Hill Start Assist and a multi-angle rearview camera. Some upgraded optional features boast a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system and LaneWatch assist. The HR-V will come with three available models; LX, EX and EX-L.
"The new HR-V crossover is a true segment-busting vehicle, unlike anything else on the market today," said Jeff Conrad, general manager of the Honda Division.
These versatile vehicles will be available next year!
