Looking for a sports car with hybrid power? Norris Honda in Baltimore, MD has the Honda CR-Z. They're not the only ones who recognize CR-Z, the hybrid is a finalist for Wheels Car of the Year.
Wheels judge James Whitbourn said CR-Z is "refreshingly pure and enjoyable. Combine the grin factor with the efficiency promised by the hybrid system and there's little doubt the Honda coupe takes the car where it should be going - smaller, lighter, more efficient and more fun."1
Wheels editor Bill Thomas said that this years' finalists are the widest range of entrants in their 49-year history.
CR-Z is in the running against six other coupes. Each offers a significant addition to performance driving. However, with a 1.5 liter engine, electric motor, and nickel-metal hydride battery pack, this Honda has a great chance of winning.
Wheels Car of the Year will be announced on January 18.
